Mihir Cheveyo Amaru Medoc is a passionate mentor, coach, and community advocate dedicated to empowering youth, fostering equality, and building stronger communities. With extensive experience mentoring students in DC Public Schools, Mihir has been a guiding force in shaping young individuals’ academic and personal growth.
As a multi-sport coach specializing in football, boxing, and basketball, Mihir has inspired countless youth to develop discipline, teamwork, and resilience. His coaching philosophy emphasizes building character alongside athletic skill, creating well-rounded individuals prepared to face life’s challenges.
Mihir’s dedication extends beyond sports and education. He served as a Community Leader with the Brothers of the DMV, where he championed the fight against discrimination, injustice, and unfair practices. Through this work, he has been instrumental in organizing initiatives that address systemic inequities and empower marginalized communities.
His community involvement also includes facilitating group therapy sessions for the Salvation Army and St. Elizabeth Hospital, where his compassionate and empathetic approach has supported individuals in their journeys toward healing and recovery.
An alumnus of Ashland Community College in Ashland, Kentucky, Mihir furthered his education by earning an Associate Degree from Strayer University. His life experiences and educational background fuel his unwavering commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of others.
